The Sugar Creek Veterans' Memorial was placed by the Citizens' of Sugar Creek, Missouri, to honor those who have given the Supreme Sacrifice to the Country in World War I and II, Korea, & Vietnam. The Memorial is set in a small "park" that is this Memorial and lots of greenspace. It is in a mixed use neighborhood of commercial and residential and it seems to be very well maintained.
Left of the Memorial is a 155MM Howitzer dated 1918. To the right, is open parkland. One proceeds along a concrete path. Obscuring the Memorial is an "island" consisting of landscaping and a lighted flagpole. The flagpole has the American, Missouri, and MIA/POW flags flying.
The path continues around the island. Flanking the island are a pair of concrete benches - one on either side. These afford the first clear view of the Marble Memorial.
The actual Memorial consists of three marble slab "Tablets" - two horizontal and one center vertical. They read:

Who Put it Here?: Citizens of Sugar Creek
Description of Memorial: I found this looking for a geocache. This Memorial is the main attaction of this "park". The "Park" is set in a mixed use neighborhood a couple of blocks away from the Main Street of Sugar Creek. The Memorial itself is well maintained. It is definitely away from most traffic of the main part of town.
