Long Description:
Memorial dedicated to 1st Lieutenant Allen S. Farnham who was killed in action in Vietnam on December 30, 1968. The Memorial is a flagpole located on the grounds of the Gaylord School, a now defunct one-room schoolhouse located in Gaylordsville, CT.

Lieutenant Farnham was born on July 2, 1942 and lived in Brookfield, CT.

After starting his tour on July 27, 1968, he was killed by hostile fire in the Chuong Thien Province, South Vietnam on December 30, 1968.
