This red hexagonal VR pillar box, has a prettily decorated top (with leaves I think), it is in frequent use by the main shopping area of the town.
Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
The box is situated the corner of South Street and South Walks Road - South Street is in the main shopping area of the town. There is a war memorial within feet of the pillar box.
Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good.
Is this post box still in use?: It is used regularly - Mon - Fri last collection 5:30PM, Sat 11:30AM
Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: VR is embossed on the box and a close up of this is provided.
