The time capsule marker says,
Herein lies a time capsule buried on San Jacinto Day,
April 21, 1986 by members of the Kaufman
Sesquicentennial Committee in celebration of the
Texas Sesquicentennial. It is the desire of the
Committee for the capsule to be uncovered during
the Texas Bicentennial on April 21, 2036.
