This is the site of the former Jaguar engine plant and before that the Daimler works that manufactured cars but also busses and military vehicles.

The Daimler Motor Company was a British motor vehicle manufacturing company, founded in 1896, and based in Coventry. The company became a subsidiary of BSA in 1910. The Daimler works here in Radord was built shortly before World War I. The factory was greatly extended during and after World War I to incorporate entrances on both Sandy Lane and Middlemarch Road.

After a merger in 1960, the factory also became home to Jaguar, who remained there till production ceased in the mid-1990s.
