I like surprising weathervanes and interesting weathervanes atop private residences in suburbia count as surprises in my book. What is even more surprising is that this can be no more than a mile from my home, on a much travelled road and today was the first time I even noticed it!
Having studied the photo, I think this is a regular reaper, not a grim one. But I'll leave that for visitors to decide...
