The 45th Infantry Division Musuem is located near the Zoo and Science Center in North Oklahoma City. This is an excellent indoor and outdoor display of military history.

M44A1 Self Propelled 155mm Howitzer
The M44 was introduced to the U.S. Armed Forces in 1953. Initially intoduced with a gasoline engine, the A1 variant had a diesel fuel injected engine. Asside from the 155mm howitzer, the M44 was armed with a .50 cal machine gun.

Admission is FREE.
The museum is quite extensive with both indoor and outdoor features. The park is excellent, covering 15 acres of outdoor static displays of tanks, artillery, aircraft and vehicles. The indoor museum covers 27,000 square feet of space with displays from the American Civil War to modern conflicts.
