The 45th Infantry Division Musuem is located near the Zoo and Science Center in North Oklahoma City. This is an excellent indoor and outdoor display of military history.

M4A1 Half Track with 81mm Mortar
A half track simply is a conventional truck front, with a track assembly for the rear, for greater traction. Developed of use in World War II. The vulnerabliltiy was found from air attacks. The half track was replaced with a fully enclosed armored personnel carriers, although they were saw continued use in Korea and Vietnam wars.

Admission is FREE.
The museum is quite extensive with both indoor and outdoor features. The park is excellent, covering 15 acres of outdoor static displays of tanks, artillery, aircraft and vehicles. The indoor museum covers 27,000 square feet of space with displays from the American Civil War to modern conflicts.
