Cabins, RVs, camping, boat rentals & tackle, snack bar come with best trout fishing in the area. There is good fishing in Robinson Creek (100 yards away) and Upper/Lower Twin Lakes (within walking distance). It's known for offering large trout as well as scrappy pan fish. The lake is stocked with rainbow and brown trout. A decade of happy summers fishing here from shore and in boats for trout and in streams. Kokanee salmon is here along with junk fish like white sucker and chubs.
Recommended tackle: Spinning tackle with clear water-filled bubble and long 5' leader with egg hook
Recommended fishing methods: Shore fishing is clear water-filled bubble and long 5' leader with egg hook using red Patzkies salmon eggs. During slow times add worm. Trolling in boat use gold flashers ahead of worm hooks with nightcrawers sent deep. This lake has rainbows, brown trout and lake-locked kokannee salmon. Fly fishing along shore near stream deltas is excellant with very smal flys.
