Mount Washington, so named after George Washington, who was involved in the French Indian war and was dispatched in the region in 1753. The area of Mount Washington is a high point overlooking the city.
The mural shows british and french soldiers in uniform, representative of the French and Indian War
Mural painted by Scott Saloney in 2004, with funds donated by Susan Brandt and the MWCDC (Mount Washington Communtiy Development Corporation)
The building on which the mural lies is partly occupied by offices of the MWCDC.
