This is the best of the three sundial Zarbula painted 1872 in Borgata. This original Zarbula sundial is still in quite good condition as it is protected from the weather by overshadowing buildings. The dial rarely sees the sun as the walkway between the buildings is narrow. The dial is on building #20 the pink house with an arch over the window. This old house has been renovated as a modern ski residence and repainted pink. The dial has the usual Zarbula style features including a rooster, flowers, sun, Masonic symbols, etc. Motto “Tempora Sic Fugit Paritur”.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
