Joseph was the earthly father of Jesus. Occupation was said to be carpenter, but the Greek word meant someone who crafted items by hand, thus Saint Joseph is the patron of organized workers.
Located in a maintained garden area with other statues on the south side of the namesake Saint Joseph Catholic Church in downtown Terre Haute.
