When we walked in the door, we were greeted by the friendly staff who had seen me (the Biologist of the team) taking photos before entering and wanted to know if I was taking photos of the diner or my husband (the Marine). My answer was "Both, of course." Probably the most memorable part of our visit to the Soda Jerk Diner & Dairy Bar was the friendliness and humor of our waitress. The diner's motif was the 1950's. We even had an old (non-functional) tabletop jukebox at our table. The staff all wear shirts that say "I'm a (Soda) Jerk". Very cute!

The menu was varied with items including wraps, salads, steak and chops, seafood, Italian entrees, Greek dishes, hot sandwiches, homestyle dinners, pancakes, eggs and omelets, and French toast to name a few. The Biologist ordered the Macaroni and Cheese Dinner, while the Marine had the Crab-stuffed Salmon. We topped off our meals with Sundaes. Yummy!
