This water tower is located on the Old Wire Road near the intersection of Fieldcrest Road.

Located across the highway from the former Morgan Mills plant, it is all that is left of that industrial complex that employed many local citizens. The plant changed hands many times since then and of recent time has been dismantled. In its place is a large concrete pad with stacks of recycle bricks palleted for later use. Large stacks of timbers are at the ready to become flooring or other uses in the building industry. Metals were collected by salvage yards to be melted down and used again.
