This water tower and windmill (or one just like it) served the house, stage coach stop, and store that Dave Jordan set up.

The nearby Jordan - Bowles House was constructed around 1845 by Dave Jordan, and moved to the current location, very near this water tower, by Victor Bowles, after he purchased it from Jordan's daughter's family.

The house was also used as a Stage Stop and would have had a detached kitchen. Near the kitchen would be a well. All of this has been reproduced here in Bowles Park.
