Lyman Cochrane House

This house is a relatively rare example of residential Italianate architecture in Detroit. It was originally built in 1870 for eye doctor John Terry, but in 1871 was sold to Judge Lyman Cochrane. Cochrane was a state senator and Superior Court Judge, serving in this capacity until his death in 1879.
