While growning up, my neighbor Sherri would repaint her garage every two or three years. She was not a professional artist, but she was, indeed, talented. Usually it was some sort of nature theme, but occasionally, she would paint a geometric pattern or even a mural.
Sadly Sherri passed away a couple of years ago after a long battle with breast cancer, but her husband still lives in the house and their children, who have inherited her artistic talent, still live in the area and repaints Dad's garage from time to time - since that is what Sherri would have done.
