These pieces of concrete are from the suspension brdge that once spanned 14 Mile Creek to take vistors to the Rose Island Amusement Park. The park was destroyed by the 1937 flood of the Ohio River.

The park is now contained within the Charlestown State Park but cannot be current accessed. Some foundations and the swimming pool remains. The park could be accessed by the Indiana side via the suspension bridge or from the Ohio River side via steamboat.
