Harrisons dissapointed me. It wasn't bad, but it sure didn't stand out either. The decor is nice, and at first blush, the menu seems nice. But in the end, it is average to lower in my mind.
I don't remember what I ordered, but I know I had an unremarkable appetizer, and I think a fish dish that lacked flavor, yet was a bit pricey. The people with me were similarly unimpressed with their food.
The beer was unremarkable. I don't even remember what I had. It wasn't horrible or anything, just unremarkable.
In the end, with all the good brewpubs in the Chicago area, this one doesn't stand out. But it is there and if in the area, brewpub beer is always better than a can of american larger in a smokey bar!
