The Dodson-Stevenson House at 903 N. McLean Street was built in 1869. The house is in an Italianate style.

The house is most noted due its second owner, Adlai E. Stevenson I, who served as Vice-President of the United States (1893 - 1897) during the second administration of Grover Cleveland. He purchased the house in 1889.
