At 45. 1 m. is an unobstructed view of the western end of NATURAL TUNNEL, a giant hole in Purchase Ridge, through which railway tracks and the waters of Stock Creek ran. The tunnel is about 100 feet in diameter and nearly 900 in length.

Now perserved as Natural Tunnel State Park, opened in 1971. The overlook will allow you to look down or through the tunnel. You might even catch a train. (See gallery)
