Located at 101 East 1st North Street. Original construction of the church was started during the Civil War. Union calvary stabled at the church which caused its partial destruction. 1902 constructed the current building as a Methodist Episcopal congregation. Over the years, the church has expanded to encompass the entire city block.
Attendance appears to be in the mid-400s. Many traditional ministries offered by UMC: Habitat House construction, weekly Bible studies, Jail ministry, Upward Basketball, prayer, Parent’s Day Out, Helping Hands ministry, quilting, carpentry, and exercise.
