Bridal Veil Falls:

The Bridal Veil Falls Trail is a low elevation trail in the northeast portion of Rocky Mountain National Park. The trail passes through open meadows in the Cow Creek valley, an area known for summer wildflowers. The trail then climbs through a forested area on the way to the waterfall.

The trail begins along a gravel road that passes McGraw Ranch Research Facility, established for biology and wildlife research in the nearby West Creek Natural Research Area.

Heading west, the road narrows into a trail paralleling Cow Creek through an open, aspen-studded valley.

The trail dips and rolls with ease to the Gem Lake Trail intersection (1.2 miles : 8,127'), where the widening valley provides sweeping views of Lumpy Ridge, Sheep Mountain and more distant peaks of the Mummy Range.

You'll reach the Bridal Veil Falls spur trail intersection at 1.95 miles (8,278'), then bear northwest through another stretch of aspen-lined open space.

Directions to Trailhead:

Bridal Veil Falls is accessed from the Cow Creek Trailhead in the northeast section of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Cow Creek Trailhead is located within McGraw Ranch, north of Estes Park off Devils Gulch Road.

Head north from downtown Estes Park on Devils Gulch Road for 4 miles to the McGraw Ranch sign on the left. Bear left on McGraw Ranch Road and travel another .4 miles to its terminus at the Cow Creek Trailhead. Park only within designated spaces at the trailhead and be cognizant of nearby private property.
