DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1972 (JCL) THE STATION IS THE BALL ATOP AND CENTERED OF A WATER TANK THAT HAS A CONICAL SHAPED TOP, CYLINDRICAL BODY AND HEMISPHERICAL BOTTOM THAT IS SUPPORTED BY FOUR I-BEAM LEGS. IT IS SILVER IN COLOR AND IS APPROXIMATELY 145 FEET HIGH. LOCATED AT THE NORTH EDGE OF JASPER, 135 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF CHAMBERS STREET AND 45 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF BIRCH STREET.
