DESCRIBED BY NORTH CAROLINA GEODETIC SURVEY 1980 2.1 MI ENE FROM GIBSON. 2.2 MILES EAST-NORTHEAST ALONG N.C. 79 FROM THE SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD CROSSING IN GIBSON, IN EAST END OF NORTH HEADWALL OF 4 BARREL BOX CULVERT OVER JOES CREEK, ABOUT 500 FEET NORTHWEST OF SAINT JOHNS METHODIST CHURCH, 26.4 FEET NORTH OF CENTERLINE OF HIGHWAY, 0.9 FOOT WEST OF EAST END OF HEADWALL, 88.4 FEET WEST OF 30 INCH TWIN GUM WITH TAG. THE MARK IS ABOVE LEVEL WITH HWY.
