Lonely chimney located along the Lost Valley Trail in Weldon Springs Conservation Area.

The chimney is located along Little Femme Osage Creek. It is probably from one of many farm homes purchased by the U.S. government at the start of World War II when several homes and thousands of acres were purchased for creation of a munitions plant and storage area. At this time the families were displaced quickly for construction. The area is now a conservation area operated by the State of Missouri. There is a mountain bike trail running within 50 feet of this chimney. To get to the chimney will involve about a two mile walk or ride each way from the Lost Valley trailhead.
