Sankt Jakob Park is a Swiss sports stadium at Basel. It is the largest football venue in Switzerland and home to FC Basel. "Joggeli", as the venue is nicknamed by the locals, was originally built in 1954 for the FIFA Word Cup, and completely rebuilt to meet current standards between 1998 and 2001.
It was also hosting 6 games in the UEFA Euro 2008 and 5 games in the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship
