The Cañon City Fire District provides emergency response, emergency prevention and community education to nearly 35,000 residents living in the 122 square mile district, as well as protecting Red Canyon Park and the Royal Gorge Park. CCFD also serves as the Hazmat Response Team for all of Fremont County.
