The Atlantic City International Airport is recognized for having the shortest wait time of all New Jersey airports, as well as a speedier in-and-out time than the Philadelphia International airport.
In addition to the approximately 2,200 acres of land leased to the SJTA from the Federal Aviation Administration Tech Center, the Airport consists of another approximately 2,700 acres retained by the FAATC for its mission. The property also includes various government agencies - among them the New Jersey Air National Guard 177th Fighter Wing, United States Coast Guard Air Station/Atlantic City, and the Transportation Security Agency Federal Air Marshall National Training Center.
