This steel truss bridge was originally constructed on Hwy 99 across the Rogue River in Grants Pass in 1909. In 1931, a new bridge was completed in Grants Pass to replace the old 1909 bridge. The old bridge was dismantled and moved to the location of the old Booth Ferry. The rebuilt bridge was dedicated in August 1932 and renamed the Robertson Bridge for an early Oregon pioneer family who settled in the area. The bridge was abandoned in 2001 with the construction of a new concrete bridge nearby.
