Windermere is the largest lake in England, and we are looking at the northern basin at Jenkins Field and Holme Crag, on the shore opposite. The cars are on A591 between Waterhead and Low Wood. Time zone GMT Looking East.

Windermere Lake

Pull Wood (the hosts) are in Huyton Hill a former preparatory school for boys. Now luxury holiday apartments. The foreground are the well maintained lawns and the lake shore with ducks. Just hiding behind the conifer is a small wooden jetty.

Across Windermere (lake) are the yachts moored around Waterhead Marine on the left of the picture (lit at night). If you look carefully you can see Geocachers finding the cache Holme Crag Windermere on Water (Cumbria). The rocky headland is Holme Crag. The cars are on A591, main road.

The wooded hillside is Jenkin's Crag on the lower slopes of Wansfell Pike.

N.B. Coordinates are not the camera, but the view.
