This unsigned building is a relic from another era in a run down area of Detroit. It was previosly a Chinese restaurant and a church.

The tower and clamshell scallops bring to mind Googie architecture.

This website (visit link) tells us:

"Located at 265 Baltimore ( both the street sign and address have been removed ) at the opening of this restaurant it was stated to be "Detroit's most beautiful Chinese-American restaurant". I believe it opened in 1968. It later closed and became the Omega Baptist Church and then the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Personally I am having trouble picturing this sci-fi building as a Chapel....they merely stuck a small, white cross in middle of the "horn". "
