[FR] Elle a été construite par le sieur Poyen (ou Payen), seigneur de Villers.
Elle présente un mélange de plein-cintres et d'ogives.
Les trois ouvertures du côté gauche sont en plein-cintres et surmontées du "sourcil" caractéristique de l'art roman. Les ouvertures du côté droit sont en arc brisé.
Sous le porche s'ouvraient deux entrées: une partie du porche a été fermé pour former la sacristie.
Le clocher est placé sur le choeur. Il est carré, à arcades romanes qui supportent quatre clochetons et une pyramide octogonale dont la maçonnerie est ornée d'écailles de poissons. Il est haut de 35 mètres environ.
Deux cadrans solaires sont encore visibles sur le côté droit. L'un d'eux a été peint en bleu vif par une des propriétaires de la maison aux ampélopsis vers 1970 (une anglaise qui aimait ces couleurs bonbons).
[EN] The church was constructed by Sir Poyen (or Payen), lord of Villers.
It presents a mixture of semi-circular and pointed arches.
The three openings on the left side are semi-circular arches topped by a "lid" characteristic of romanesque art. The openings on the left side are pointed arches.
Two entrances open underneath the porch : one part of which was closed to form the sacristy.
The clock tower is placed above the choir. It is square, with romanesque arcades which support four steeples and an octoganal pyramid with masonery decorated with fish scales. It is about 35 meters high.
