St Mark's Methodist Church is located at 19620 White Ground Rd in Boyds, Maryland.

The plaque reads:
TIME CAPSULE MEMORIAL
1ST CAPSULE FOUND APRIL 17, 1999
2ND CAPSULE PLACED SEPTEMBER 25, 1999
TO BE OPENED SEPTEMBER, 2099

There is no visible marker for the placement of the capsule near the plaque, but it is enclosed in an unmarked concrete "cornerstone" in the church foundation.
