The World War II is a red granite monument placed beneath the World War I memorial. The granite monument is inscribed on both sides with the names of veterans from Scotland County who lost their lives in World War II. The monument is inscribed:

The memorial is located on the or the Scotland County Courthouse grounds also known as the Memphis Public Square. Memphis is a small town in northeast Missouri in a predominately farming area. The square is nicely maintained and there is plenty of parking available around the area.
