The World War I Memorial is a small stone roofed structure with inscription on the inside surfaces of the roof. The pillars supporting the roof are inscribed with the names of World War I veterans from Scotland County who gave their lives in the war. A World War II memorial was added to the memorial at a later date.  The memorial is inscribed:
