The building that contains the pendulum is the old Buhl Planterium. It closed in 1991. It later reopened as a Children's Museum. The original pendulum was left intact. There are 136 pins, each set 2.5 degrees apart. The pendulum is in the cafeteria portion of the building. There is no fee to enter this part.
