This marker indicates the location of the near by Sudbury first town center and meetinghouse. The marker is located on Old Sudbury Road, Rte 27, in Sudbury MA at the entrance of North Cemetery.
The marker reads:
"First Town Center
Site of the first meetinghouse and center of the settlement of Sudbury plantation, 1638."
The actual location of the meetinghouse is just north of this marker.
