As you arrive at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, there is a B-52 Stratofortress in the parking lot to protect your vehicle. The museum was founded in 1994 in a 160,000 square foot hanger on the former Lowry Air Force Base. Aircraft ranges for the early age of flight in the 1920s to space capsules to Star Wars X-Wing Fighter. Plan to spend at least half a day with the helpful volunteers giving history and trivia to all to enjoy.
