Opened in July 2005, The 8,000 square foot Shurniak Art Gallery houses the founder's private collection of original paintings, sculptures, and artifacts from around the world. The landscaped courtyard and grounds feature sculptures by esteemed Canadian artists Robert Davidson and Joe Fafard.
The permanent collection contains works by the Group of Seven and West Coast artist, Bill Reid, as well as international pieces in various media.
An extensive library of art books is available for visitors to browse on the premises. Enjoy a few leisurely hours with beautiful books in a lovely setting.
The Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. Several walkers and a wheelchair are available for visitors' use.
