This pretty little park is a peaceful place with several monuments and memorials to our veterans. It honors the veterans of Heard County who served and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
The peaceful little town has really invested time and money to make this an impressive and restful place for all to enjoy. I was taken aback by the amount of people who contributed to this park. The park is literally covered in brick pavers which were sold to finance the park.

This park is dedicated in memory and in honor of those who were called upon to put their lives on the line for our country. Let us remember not only those who died, but those who lived and came home from the wars. The great heritage & freedom we all share is because of veteran's service, sacrifices and valor.
