When this dam was first built, there was a lot of complaining about how the impoundment ruined the rapids above it.
Now, however, people are thankful we're not burning anything to produce the electricity, and there are still some rapids.
Dam is in a spawning area known as Salmon Hole, and the structure includes a fishway.
