I seen around 20 of these pilings in this area and I think there were at least two different structures here. There are a couple of old metal chimney/vents here too. There also a foundation within a hundred feet to the north that is used as part of the bike trail. A mountain bike trail now goes through here so watch out for bikes when visiting.Camp Murphy was a RADAR school in WWII.There were almost a 1000 buildings at this camp at one time. Most were sold off when it was closed. Some evidence remains.Camp Murphy was opened in 1942.After it was decommissioned it was turned into a State Park in 1950.
