This was found at the site of the Roman Villas in Bancroft, now framed and displayed in the Center Shopping Mall.

This High quality Roman mosiac floor was found when excavating a roman villa at Bancroft in 1978, it formed the floor of a small room adjacent to the principal bath suite.
The design suggests that it was laid by craftsmen from Corinium [Cirencester] AD 320.
