?The Salem Diner offers meals other than breakfast, but on Sunday's it is the only meal they serve. The Diner itself is a classic Sterling Streamliner built by J.B. Judkins Company of Merrimac MA. The Judkins Company only built 19 of these diners and the Salem is one of two surviving operating diners of this style.
When we arrived we were informed by a couple, be ready for a wait. Sure enough inside there was a small line, however they were looking to sit in one of the boothes and we opted for the counter. IMHO the counter is the only way to enjoy diner fare.

The meals we selected (which there are pictures of ) was a stack of chocolate chip pancakes and the Hungry Man's breakfast consisting of eggs, choice of breakfast meat, toast, and choice of pancakes or french toast.

If you are in Salem MA in the morning, looking for a place to eat, give the Salem Diner a try, you will not be disappointed.
