Long Description:
New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery is located behind New Bethel
Baptist Church on Oak Grove Road in west Hattiesburg. The cemetery
is small containing aprox 50 graves but is still active, although
it will be a maximum capacity soon. The older graves are from the
mid 1930s. There are several graves marked with the designation
“H.B.A. No. 205” I assume some organization, however I am unaware
of the meaning.
