Long Description:From the inventory: "A Portrait bust of Pietro Ferrante. He has a
moustache and wears a coat and tie. The bronze sculpture sits at a
45 degree angle on top of a slanted granite pedestal. The pedestal
stands on a granite slab base.
R. H. Hoge (On plaque on front of base:) Pietro Ferrante,
1867-1954. By vision and example an inspiration and leader among
the founders of the Monterey fishing and canning industry which
added greatly to the history and fortune of Monterey. signed."
