Memorial to slain DEA agent, Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who did so much to stop the Mexican drug traffickers, before being brutally murdered in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Bust with plaque of the decorated and martyred DEA agent, Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who did so much to reduce the drug traffic along the US-Mexican border.

From Agent Camarena's death sprang the idea to honor with the annual Red Ribbon Week, which calls upon organizations, parents, and educators to reinforce the dangers of drug abuse with children.

This memorial is fitting tribute to a man who gave the ultimate to make our country better. If you are near Zapata, please visit the courthouse and pause for a minute before this memorial.
