On the old presbytery beside the church is a sundial showing a mountain scene. This is an example of a lack of perspective on the historical value of an ancient sundial. The sundial attributed to Zarbula was first repainting in 1954 added a poorly painted mountain on top of the Zarbula dial painted in 1853. The date added in the latest repainting is 1843. The second repainting painted over the remnants of the original, extending the mountain scene to include grass and creeks. The appropriate motto is now "Time is running out, just like water!

The value of old sundials is now recognized as part of the patrimony of the area. Public funds pay for most restorations, now better done by professionals.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
