This site is rich in history from the early 1800's to the late 1940's, One of the historical notes is Lewis and Clark spending the last evening of their expedition here.


Captains Lewis and Clark, on their return, also stayed at the site on September 22, 1806, the final night of their famous ‘Corp of Discovery’ expedition. (visit link)
